Learning about the in-office whitening procedure
We utilize the Zoom White Speed Light Activated system, which is the only in-office treatment in which the intensity of light can be adjusted to meet the needs of the patient. Chairside whitening is ideal for removing organic stains or discoloration caused by consumption of certain foods and beverages, and tobacco use. Coffee, tea, red wine, sodas, blueberries, and sauces are among the foods and beverages that can stain the teeth. Smoking not only wreaks havoc on overall health but also leaves teeth looking dull. Regardless of the cause for tooth stains, our in-office procedure can transform a smile.
Dr. Soll supervises all of the whitening treatments to ensure optimal results. For treatment, we ensure the gums, face, and eyes are protected. Then, we apply a whitening gel to the teeth. We activate the bleaching agents with a specialized light. After a single appointment, a patient can count on a smile several shades lighter.
Maintaining the pearly whites
To ensure longevity of a bright smile, we recommend avoiding foods and beverages that can discolor the teeth and quit or avoid smoking. We also offer a Forever White™ program, involving a home whitening kit. This allows you to touch up your pearly whites in the comfort of your home. As a participant in the program, you must visit us for hygiene cleanings every six months. We offer this program to new and current patients.
